In addition to milking equipment, Waldos offers horse breeders a special tool for painless stabilization during veterinary and training processes.
The relationship between man and horse is often likened to that of two adults, based on trust, respect and affection. But even today’s bred horse is as wild inside as its ancestors. He can spot danger in advance, flee, rebel in a split second. The horse is a very shy and claustrophobic animal, and trusting humans is something he must learn. The stabiliser is a tool that works on the basis of stimulation of acupuncture points. Through it, the horse does not associate certain instructions with pain, but, on the contrary, with a pleasant sensation.
It is a set of cables designed to gently and purposefully act on the acupuncture points and influence the horse’s behaviour.

In foals, the intake of sufficient colostrum (the mare’s first milk) is even more important than in other farm animals. Newborn foals have only negligible or no concentrations of serum immunoglobulins at birth, due to the structure of the horse’s placenta. These antibodies are needed by the foal to acquire immunity and resistance to common infectious diseases in the first weeks of life and can be obtained from the colostrum immediately after birth.
Early intake of good quality colostrum is essential for the healthy development of the foal throughout its life and cannot be replaced by the intake of plain milk or water!!!
If the mare does not start producing colostrum within 12 hours after birth, it must be procured elsewhere. In some postpartum conditions or in the event of death, the mare’s colostrum must be milked and given to the foal from a bottle. For this purpose, the milking equipment offered by Waldos has been developed
